I was born in India, and my parents brought me to America when I was about 6 months old. I grew up in Colorado and I  came to UT Austin because of the engineering school and how great Austin is! As an engineer, I have been interested in design work. Last year I interned at an aerospace company working on a wing, and this past summer I interned at an oil & gas company working on subsea equipment.

I am a huge sports fan, and I avidly follow all of my Colorado teams as well as our Texas Longhorns in American football, baseball, basketball, and ice hockey.

 

The reason I wanted to do PUC is that I wanted to give back. I have been fortunate to receive a great education, and I want to be able to use that to give back and help people. I want to be able to learn a lot about the community. Being from a different cultural upbringing, I find it fascinating how different cultures can be, and I would love to learn more.
